Example of approximately 65 square meter living area house :

The house will be built in the mainland of Greece (central Greece or Peloponnese); not on the islands. Install a 10kw photovoltaic system on the roof or on the land for energy production. You sell this electricity and receive 6700€ yearly for 25 years. This amount is FREE of tax.

The price for an absolutely finished house is 125000€;  VAT (taxes to the Greek state) and the installment of the system is included. Price of land is not included. If you build a house of 100 square meters, the price will be approximately 161000€.

The house without photovoltaic system has a price of approximately 85000€.

Finance:

Example: A mortgage of 112500€ paid back over 25 years (same as the contract with DEI) at an interest of 3,5% has a yearly cost of 6782€; almost the same amount as you receive every year.
